If the pump is left for a long time without being used, it can "get stuck". It usually has a faint buzzing sound and then it cannot start even though it gets power. Then it can't start even though it gets power. It is easy to check and fix by using a flat screwdriver that is inserted into the hole in the center at the back of the pump. Turn right and left to loosen the rotor if it is stuck. See the first 3 pictures.
Another thing could be if the capacitor gave up. It is there to give the pump motor an "electric boost" at start-up. Also attached pictures for capacitor and how it can be replaced.
Is there any sound at all from the pump when it gets power? You can try activating the system via the ON/OFF button on the control panel.
Also check that the pump's ON/OFF switch is not switched off with button 3 as shown in the user manual? This applies to TopSpa XS models.
